Fabrication Crafts is a social enterprise that supports local artists and makers. We have work and retail space in Leeds and York, providing help and support for around 100 makers, including jewellers, woodworkers, glass artists, metalworkers and ceramicists.
We moved into our shop in Coney Street York in November 2018, as a 6 month pop up, and thanks to our lovely landlords, the National Trust, are still there.
Our building is an approximately 1600 build, with earlier remains, and was left to the NT as part of the Frank Green legacy. It has a beautiful pargetted ceiling, the image is below is of part of it, and is the inspiration behind the project.
